A brief foreword from the Co Leader's of BodyBags-UK,BuZZeR & SteveFizz
In 2003 BodyBags-uk was formed by Steve Fizz and a few friends and family members.
Mostly playing Call Of Duty or trying to in most cases.
Over the years we have seen a few members come and go, we have met some nice people who we consider as friends and we still chat to today.

Since day one, a clan took us under their wing (B$E Clan) and gave us a room in TeamSpeak and as regulars (I mean every day & night).
They taught us 100% STRAIGHT, CLEAN,HONEST GAMEPLAY. No cheating, no swearing on servers and no abusive behaviour.
A great set of people. (if you ever read this WAZ or BIGBIRD... Bring back the OMAHA server PLEASE).
We used to scrim every Friday night against a clan called Edinburgh s@s, they were in clan base and were extremely good, in fact they used to beat us on more or less every map we played them on.
If we managed to capture a flag we were chuffed to say the least.
We started to get organised and eventually we owned them on our favourite map OMAHA, hence the motto given us by s@s 'BodyBags Rule Others Drool.'
For any of you reading this that has played Call Of Duty United Offensive, this map was challenging especially when you was on Allies but the way we fought hard to beat them and when we did they couldn't touch us, Omaha became BodyBags home map.

At the end of 2004 a lot of members left and went their own ways but the core stuck with it, the clan didn't really grow much until around January 2005 when we boasted 30+ members.
Again mid 2005 people left the clan to do other things, this left the clan down to bare bones with just a few members left.
In December 2005 SteveFizz, Jimbo and BuZZeR decided to rejuvenate the clan and what a success it was reaching upto 40+ members.
It was October 2006 when we decided to drop Call Of Duty 2 and United Offensive and go on with BF2, Buzzer became co Clan Leader and we Changed our tags from <BodyBags-uk> to =BBUK=.

In 2007 =BBUK= became a BF2 clan, and started three new Battlefield 2 servers catering for all styles of gameplay, we hosted the No1 UK clan based server in the world in our 'Wake 24/7' server.
In 2008 our membership has increased to over 70 clan members, who have made Bodybags what it is today, currently we are open to membership but we wish to cap this in the near future.

In 2009 we continued to grow and evolve into the community we are today, and we had our first official camping clan meet, which we can say without any contradiction was the wettest any of us has ever been, but this was for a cause. We sadly lost one of our highly respected members =BBUK= Thunderpants and he was hoping to atttend even though he was very poorly, but time was against us and sadly he didn't survive to the date, but he was there in spirit.

In 2010 we moved on again, we still played Battlefield 2, but now Bad Company 2 has become a part of our gaming community, we still continue to grow and develope as a community.

Now in 2011 we make another big step, in making a bold decision to have our own dedicated server, no longer tied to a server provider we are our own boss and can run the games we want wheen we want them, so with Battlefield 3 on the horizon we will be ready on the day of release.
